D&A Studio — Data & AI Platform (PaaS)

A platform that brings geospatial tracking data, an AI assistant on company documents, anomaly detection and BI dashboards into one place.

D&A Studio — Data & AI Platform (PaaS) preview

Overview

D&A Studio (DETA Traçage) is the platform I designed and built during my end-of-studies internship at D&A Technologies in Casablanca. It combines a Spring Boot back end, a React front end with maps, a PostgreSQL/PostGIS database, a retrieval-augmented (RAG) assistant, an anomaly-detection module and Power BI reporting, deployed with Docker and CI/CD.

The problem

Tracking data, documents and reporting lived in separate tools. Teams had no single place to explore geodata, ask questions about internal documents or follow indicators, and data errors were only found late.

What I built

I designed the application architecture and built REST APIs in Spring Boot (Java 21) on PostgreSQL/PostGIS, a React interface with maps, a RAG assistant that answers from the company's documents using embeddings and semantic search, a module that flags anomalies in the data, and Power BI dashboards for the main indicators. Access is controlled by role (RBAC) and the platform is containerised with Docker and deployed through CI/CD.

Results

  • One platform covering geodata, document Q&A, data quality and reporting
  • AI assistant grounded in company documents, with sources
  • Automated deployments through a CI/CD pipeline and Docker
  • Technical documentation and tests delivered with the code

Highlights

  • RAG assistant: embeddings, semantic search, answers grounded in internal documents
  • Anomaly-detection module on the platform's data
  • Maps and geospatial queries with PostGIS
  • Power BI dashboards and KPI definitions
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)

Let's build something great together

Whether you need a full-stack web app, a data dashboard, or a cloud-native deployment — I'd love to hear about it.
